From My Heart To Yours
Not only are the temperatures dropping, the leaves falling, and the sun setting earlier, but I am in the midst of a big change myself.
I am jumping into the waters of being an Indie Author and while I feel a little overwhelmed, I also feel excited for the future of the stories I want to share.
Last week, I got the rights to The Space Between Our Hearts back, and will be re-releasing this story in the months to come. I’ve contacted an artist who will begin work on the new cover in December. I’m guessing the relaunch will be in early January, but we’ll just have to wait and see. I’m super excited to show you the new cover and once again be able to get Rindy’s story into your hands.
As an Indie Author I can have my own publishing house and logo to publish under. So I would like to introduce you to Pressed Feather Publishing. If you know me, you know that feathers have become a symbol of God’s faithfulness and hope for my heart—and hands—to hold onto. I started collecting feathers when I was in the midst of my darkest days. It only made sense for my logo to be a feather. On top of that, 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 has been on my mind a lot these past few months.
2 Corinthians 4:7-9
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
And there you have it!
Pressed Feather Publishing, the place where I get to share my stories with you.
News & Updates
As soon as I have more information surrounding the relaunch of The Space Between Our Hearts, I will let you know!
And, as if a relaunch isn’t exciting enough - my second book, another stand alone YA contemporary, will be coming out spring/summer of 2026! Stay tuned for the title reveal in February!
Author Spotlight
On my Instagram account I’ve started monthly author spotlights of other YA Contemporary Indie Authors and it’s been really fun to get to know other authors. I’ll be adding this to my newsletters because sharing is caring!
As you get ready for Christmas (yep, it’s coming!), if you have someone in your life who enjoys YA Contemporary books with a focus on sports - especially football, look no further than L. M. Ransom. She has two series that are available now.
Or if you’d prefer a coming of age romance about self-acceptance, quiet courage, young love, and the risks we take for connection, check out Dancing With The Wallflower by Anastasia Layne.
I am so thankful for each of you and I can’t wait to share more about my Indie Author journey with you in the weeks to come. Your support and encouragement mean so much to me.

So excited for you!
